Hi Sharon -
Oh thanks. They're fun - I love making stuff. I wonder if I just do it for me. Must be - haven't sold a thing :)
Yes, eBay is dead in my book. You're right - they used to be great. Secure, a great place to make some money, but now it's...
Love your designs. Glad to hear you are recooping well. I would love to really get a relationship with Etsy. I really need to start working it. Ebay has really screwed themselves in all this. I got a survey request that they kept sending me to tak...
We are By Way of Salem; the Bag Sisters; Jeannine and Ellen. A crazy duo that love to paint, sculpt, craft, stitch, and make funny faces. Jeannine lives in Washington, and Ellen lives in Tennessee. Our collaboration is a long distance one, but nonetheless fun! We have always been artists but for others, not for ourselves. Now we're taking the plunge into infamy!
Yes!! I had looked at the blog, it's GREAT! I think I added myself to follow too. It's very informative but in a fun way and not boring, good job! Hope I can learn some blog tips from you guys, mine is pretty boring still but I am just getting it started.
Hey Jannine and Ellen, GREAT STUFF! I would have to say Mordred is my favorite, though they are all wonderful pieces. Does Mordred make regular Visits to Morgan LeFayets (I'm pretty sure I spelled that wrong) iin Camelot? I have always loved that name since the first time I saw Camelot, and at one time (a very LONG time ago) played a part in a small town version of the musical. Welcome to the Halloween Guild, glad you joined.
LOL, like minds! I use paper pulp, whatever I can find on sale, and mix the detail parts I sculpt with paper clay, I find it keeps the mache from setting until I can create expressions, then it drys quick. I started my artistic endeavors with paintings. Very traditional, Dutch Masters style, and then I had to loosen up and what better way than Halloween. I always go back to Halloween. But I use anything basically.
Thank you, Jeannine and Ellen! I enjoy this time of year so much and can't wait to show you my new things this year.
