- Linfa, have you ever heard of a man named Lewis Grizzard? He was a newspaper man, also wrote books....very southern, and is one of the best reads bookwise you'll ever see...Lewis G had a big dog named Catfish....and a number of ex's, but it was Catfish that was the love of h is life....anyway, Catfish, who was an old dog, died, an Lewis Grizzard wrote about him almost every day in his newspaper column...he said there was a hole in his heart where Catfish lived that would never be filled....he, too, didn't live long after he lost Catfish.....check him out if you ever have time. jo jo

- I am so jealous of you and Haunted Hayride....you are both so lucky to have the black labs. We are dogless, right now....our loved one, a big black Dobe a bit over 13 years old died a couple of years ago and we haven't had the heart to get another dog....the world is a happier place with a big black four legged buddy. jo jo

- Welcome :) Beautiful art work. Thank you for raising my awareness via the Polar Bear/Ice Bear Project. I too love animals. If I may say so the portrait of Poppy is beautiful as well. My puppy in the picture is now two years old and they look very similar. Love black labs!
